Industry consultant Larry Harmon has been named interim executive director of the Association of Corporate Credit Unions.
The announcement made today by ACCU touted the Kansas City, Mo.-based Harmon's 30 years experience in the financial industry, including expertise in risk management and compliance.
Steve Roy, ACCU chairman and president/CEO of TRICORP Federal Credit Union, said Harmon's experience will prove invaluable "as we navigate the changing corporate environment."

"Our first objective will be to work closely with corporates as NCUA finalizes plans for a legacy asset program, and the pending developments with the rules and regulations governing corporates," Harmon said in a release.
