One of the keynote speakers at the African-American Credit Union Coalition's August conference will be NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz.

Matz will speak at the AACUC's annual conference scheduled to take place Aug. 4-7 at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis. Rep. William Lacy Clay (D-Mo.), who voted for the recent passage of health care reform and is the co-sponsor of several Social Security protection bills, is also scheduled to speak.

Among the sessions on the agenda at the AACUC conference are discussions on marketing across generations, how to effectively penetrate select employee groups and the community, membership growth and retention, and how employment law affects the decisions managers make regarding employee performance.
