Thirty more credit unions became Fiserv core processing clients in 2009, along with 116 new credit union users of its credit and debit card solutions, the company said.

The company said 87 signed for debit card solutions and 29 bought credit card processing. The company said more than 1,500 credit unions now are among the 3,100 financial institutions using its card services.

"The ability to process our cards online in real time is a great benefit for our members and for the credit union," said Sean Doane, vice president of information systems at $190 million International Harvester Employees Credit Union in Springfield, Ohio, which now uses the company's card production, management and processing services for about 8,000 debit and credit accounts.
