Crescent Credit Union, Brockton, Mass., announced that after eight years as chairman of the credit union's board of directors, Herbert S. Nagle is passing the gavel to newly elected Chairman William Rosa. Nagle will continue to serve as a director, a position he has held since 1959. Rosa joined the board in 2002. He has served as vice chairman since 2007. Rosa is a graduate of Rutgers University and holds a degree from the New England School of Law. A partner at the law firm of Wynn & Wynn P.C. in Raynham, Mass., he is also a member of the Taunton Bar Association and the Rhode Island Bar Association.

Credit Union of Georgia, Woodstock, Ga., announced the appointment of Kathi Williamson to vice president of member services. Williamson has more than 20 years of experience in the credit union industry and holds bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from the University of Phoenix. The credit union also announced the promotion of Amanda Arnold to vice president of marketing and business development. Arnold holds a bachelor's in business administration from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Ga.

BrightStar Credit Union, Sunrise, Fla., announced the naming of James Egan as vice president of lending. An accomplished and award-winning sales executive, he is responsible for loan originations and lending at the credit union's six locations in Broward County. Previously, Egan was vice president of HSBC North America in Miami-Ft. Lauderdale. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from St. Thomas University.

UW Credit Union, Madison, Wis., announced the appointment of Mike Sauk, chief information officer of UW Hospital and Clinics, to serve on its audit committee. Sauk is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives and served for three years on the Siemens executive advisory team. He holds a BA in communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a master's degree in science administration from Central Michigan University.

Oregon Credit Union Foundation, Beaverton, Ore., elected its officers for 2010. Carlyn Roy, executive vice president and chief operating officer of OSU Federal Credit Union, was elected the chair of the foundation's board of directors. Brooke Van Vleet, executive vice president and chief administrative officer of First Tech Credit Union was elected vice chair. Kathy Garner, executive vice president of Southwest Corporate Federal Credit Union, and Robert Barzler, president/CEO of Point West Credit Union, were elected treasurer and secretary, respectively. Rounding out the foundation's board was Shirley Cate, president/CEO of Providence Health System Federal Credit Union, Barbara Mathey, president/CEO of IBEW & United Workers Federal Credit Union, and Kyle Frick, vice president of marketing & sales of Mid Oregon Federal Credit Union.

Great Basin Federal Credit Union, Reno, Nev., announced the promotion of Kristina Schaffer to the position of mortgage loan officer. In this position she will be responsible for all mortgage processing, disclosing and education. Schaffer joined the credit union as a teller and soon after was promoted to member service representative.

KeyPoint Credit Union, Santa Clara, Calif., announced that its CEO, Tim Kramer, received an "Unsung Hero" award from the California Credit Union League. With more than 35 years of credit union experience, Kramer has been at the helm of the credit union for nearly 24 years. He has served on numerous boards and in 1995 traveled to Russia, under the auspices of the World Council of Credit Unions, to provide technical assistance to credit unions there. In addition Kramer is active with Habitat for Humanity, assisting in the construction of homes and inspiring others to get involved. He and his credit union employees also have participated in various community programs.

Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Manhattan Beach, Calif., announced that Susan Williams joined the credit union as vice president/treasurer. Williams previously acted as a treasury consultant on contingency and liability projects. Prior to that, she served as executive vice president at Countrywide Bank. While at Countrywide, Williams held numerous other positions.

Global Credit Union, Spokane, Wash., announced the hiring of Morgan Collett as commercial loan processor in its member business services center. Collett previously worked as a private banking representative for Americanwest Bank.

Columbia Credit Union, Vancouver, Wash., announced the promotion of Michael Florea to senior vice president, chief information officer. Florea will supervise information and technology services at the credit union, leading the strategic development and management of information resources and planning. He has worked in the credit union's information technology department for the past 11 years, serving most recently as the interim chief information officer.
