Low income credit unions thinking of applying for loans through the Obama administration's Community Development Capital Initiative can find out more details at one of three conference calls scheduled between now and April 1.

The sessions are scheduled to take place on March 4, March 18 and April 1 at 4:00 p.m. ET.

At the sessions, Treasury Department employees will discuss the application for the program, which uses funds from the Troubled Assets Relief Program to provide loans to financial institutions that serve underserved areas. The sessions will also cover the process for applying for certification as a community development financial institution; such certification is required to participate in the program.
