Smaller credit unions can now free up some more staff time from ATM management, thanks to a new tool from Morphis, a software firm specializing in cash management.
The new tool, called MorphisONLINE/ATMCash, brings software tools to CUs that may only drive one, two or three machines. The firm has generally supplied the software to much larger banks and credit unions that drive a lot of ATMs.
"Some banks and credit unions need to manage as few as one or two ATMs. MorphisONLINE/ATMCash meets those needs," says Gary Faulkner, chief marketing officer of Morphis. "And with pricing that starts at just $50 per month."

Many smaller CUs that don't drive as many ATMs have one employee who is almost tied to a spread sheet to help them record the machine's cash flow and predict how much the machines will need for a given time period, Faulkner explained. "Our tool is a browser based system that takes care of all that."
