Sources familiar with the National Credit Union Foundation say that Bucky Sebastian is in discussions with the National Credit Union Foundation about becoming its next executive director.
That job was most recently held by Steve Delfin who left at the end of 2009 to take the helm at America's Charities.
Sources say that Sebastian is very interested in the position, but he has not yet become available for comment.

No one from the foundation could confirm that any meetings with Sebastian were taking place, but the NCUF Board is holding meetings in Florida this week where they are discussing the search process.
Sebastian led GTE FCU from 1989 to 2009 during a period when the credit union grew in assets from $160 million to $1.6 billion, according to the credit union.
