Westoba Credit Union has become the fourth top-30 Canadian credit union to commit to the Acumen core processing solution from Fiserv Inc., the company said. The $865 million CU in Brandon, Manitoba, also has chosen the Wisdom accounting suite and ConvergeIT audio response system, according to Fiserv Solutions of Canada. The company said 12 customers have now selected the Acumen platform since January 2008. Recently re-named from iSpectrum, the Acumen solution was built for large credit unions and provides scalability, real-time processing, global capabilities and 360-degree member views, the company said. “Our credit union is growing rapidly and our members demand modern services and continuous access to their accounts. Acumen will empower us to move our organization forward with innovative services for our members, as well as enable us to increase efficiency through automation and support us as we grow,” said Westoba CEO Wayne McLeod. “Westoba’s decision to choose Acumen further validates our investment in this transformational new solution, and we look forward to expanding Acumen throughout North America,” said Scott Butler, Fiserv’s president of Credit Union Solutions from Fiserv.
