Credit union members including those with business accounts recently helped Eastern Corporate Federal Credit Union's remote deposit capture service DeposZip surpass $315 million.
As of Jan. 7, the total consisted of 291,098 deposits, according to the $1 billion EasCorp in Burlington, Mass. DeposZip enables members to deposit checks from their homes or offices through the use of a desktop or multi-feed scanner. The program launched in 2008.
DeposZip presently has 47 credit unions participating in the program, according to EasCorp.
