Robins Federal Credit Union is taking its young members' opinions seriously.
The Warner Robins, Ga.-based credit union has formed a youth advisory council to learn how to better serve young adults. Consisting of 15 people between the ages of 16 and 24, the council is designed to serve as the voice for young adults in a bid to help Robins Federal become the financial institution of choice for the age group.
The 2010 youth advisory council members are as follows: Emily Cochran, Bria Daniels, Lauren Eason, Erica Eaton, Zachary Flowers, Chelsea Jackson, David James Johnson, Logan Lorenz, Courtney Walden and Courtney Yllander.
The council's input on various products, services and other projects will have a direct impact on the $1.2 billion credit union's approach to youth, said the credit union. Council members will receive a $500 scholarship at the completion of their one-year term.
