Roshara Holub, the president/CEO of the Missouri Credit Union Association and the past chair of the American Association of Credit Union Leagues, is retiring in December 2010.
Holub, who also is chair of Credit Union House and CUNA's Legislative Action Council, joined the Missouri trade group in 1999 after serving as head of the Credit Union Association of New Mexico. She previously held management posts at CUs in Alaska and Albuquerque.
At MCUA, she has played a key role in helping foster membership perks or "patronage" through usage of processing subsidiaries and also guided the expanded role Missouri CUs have achieved in shared branching. She also has guided the industry through sharp bank attacks including a seven-yea-field of membership battle by the Missouri Bankers Association to block CU expansion.
