An upgraded version of the Control automated compliance and reporting solution for credit unions and community banks has now been released by Continuity Engine. Control version 1.5 includes additional third-party ActionPacks and an iPhone interface for remote compliance work, the company said. “The addition of mobility to compliance tasks around facilities management, physical security or remote ATMs can be done from the palm of the user’s hand. We’ve heard from countless banks and credit unions that these kinds of tasks are poorly documented because people get caught in another task before they record them,” said Continuity Engine’s founder, Andy Greenawalt. Control is a Web-based solution that provides what the New Haven, Conn., company calls its ActionPack library that automates and cuts the costs of compliance and reporting. Greenawalt, founder and former chief technology officer at ePerimeter Security, said about 500 customers are now using his new company’s Control solution.
