Fiserv, a provider of financial services technology solutions, recently sponsored a survey that looked at how financial institutions can help consumers manage their finances in difficult times.

Some key results from the survey were that 74% of respondents said that they are paying more attention to their finances than previous years; 61% said that online access helps them feel more in control of their finances; and 38% of online banking users said they were accessing their online accounts more often due to the recession.
