The Wisconsin Credit Union League does not run a stand-alone Credit Union House like CUNA’s, but for purposes of International Credit Union Day next week the league’s Madison offices will make do for media and government leaders as part of what is billed as a “bigger and better” event.

In a departure, the league is also holding this special ICU celebration for lawmakers, civic leaders and reporters on Oct. 14, one day earlier than the designated Oct. 15 as decreed by the World Council of Credit Unions, which has staffers in Madison and will be at an afternoon reception.
