Attendees were cautiously optimistic about the future and some said conditions weren't as bad as they could have been. "We will be fine. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), left, noted that he was a member of two credit unions and praised their efforts in helping working people. But he added that Congress needs to conduct a "thorough investigation to determine who the people are who caused the crisis, and if they committed crimes, hopefully, the courts will see to it that they experience the workings of the American prison system."
