Teachers Federal Credit Union, Farmingville, N.Y., named Bob McAllister to the position of assistant vice president of indirect auto financing. McAllister has more than 30 years of experience in the finance sector and a background in auto and business financing. As assistant vice president of indirect auto financing, McAllister oversees indirect lending of automobile purchase transactions initiated by the credit union for its members. He interacts with the GrooveCar auto buying service and local auto dealers to secure deals for TFCU members. Prior to joining TFCU, McAllister served as vice president for independent lending at North Fork Bank. In addition, he has worked closely with the Greater New York Auto Dealers Association.
Greylock Federal Credit Union, Pittsfield, Mass., announced promotions of six key managers. Gloria Beraldi was promoted to assistant vice president, branch manager at Greylock's West Street location. Beraldi came to Greylock Federal in 1994 and has 22 years' experience in banking. Kate Gelinas was promoted to assistant vice president, manager deposit operations. Gelinas joined Greylock in 1985 and has 30 years' banking experience. Timothy Kiely was promoted to assistant vice president, branch manager. Kiely joined Greylock in 2004 and has 10 years of financial services experience. Maureen Phillips was promoted to assistant vice president, mortgage loan officer. She has 30 years of banking experience. Pete Mirante was promoted to vice president, insurance operations. Mirante has 20 years' experience in banking and insurance services. Sharon MacEachern was promoted to assistant vice president and manager of Greylock Insurance Agency. She joined Greylock Insurance in 2005 as an office manager and has 24 years' experience working with personal lines, commercial lines and claims, life and health insurance.
SOUTH
DuPont Community Credit Union, Waynesboro, Va., recently re-elected two incumbents for three-year terms to the board of directors. Everett J. Campbell Jr., who has served on the board for six years, was re-elected. Campbell retired as plant manager of the Stuarts Draft Hershey Plant. Also re-elected was Raymond Reed, who has served on the board for three years. Reed retired from DuPont after working 35 years for the company. The board also selected its officers: Campbell will serve as chairman, Walter H. Hendrix will serve as vice chairman, Mary Rothacker will serve as secretary, and Q. Maurice Gresham will serve as treasurer.
Community First Credit Union of Florida, Jacksonville, Fla., has named Jan Burnett manager of the Fernandina Beach branch. Burnett comes to Community First's Fernandina Beach branch from Atlantic Coast Bank, where she was vice president and market manager for the Jacksonville Beaches area. Prior to that, she served as the bank's business development officer for four years. Burnett was business development manager for Corporate Care Works in Jacksonville and worked 11 years as a project manager for AT&T American Transtech.
Langley Federal Credit Union, Newport News, Va., announced that Compliance Officer Diane Nortness has been honored with a governmental award at the Virginia Credit Union League's recent Legislative Leadership Conference. Nortness has positively impacted the perception of credit unions among politicians through her governmental affairs work, as well as her efforts in fundraising, lobbying, supporting league activity and educating legislators. She frequently represents LFCU and the credit union movement by scheduling appointments with legislators to provide informational briefings to educate political dignitaries about the good work being conducted by credit unions and the credit union difference.
MIDWEST
Members Cooperative Credit Union, Duluth, Minn., announced Laura Battisti as its new financial education specialist. She will spearhead a companywide initiative to improve the financial health of members, youth and the community. Battisti holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the College of St. Scholastica and has worked with at-risk and special-needs students in Florida and southern Minnesota. Laura replaces Jeff Bruch, who was promoted to branch manager of the Duluth-Central and Duluth-Miller Hill offices.
WEST
White Crown Federal Credit Union, Denver, announced that Louisa Coons, senior loan officer for Catalyst Lending Inc., has been re-elected to the board of directors. Coons, who has been a member of White Crown since 1985, has served on the board for 10 years and is presently secretary. She will serve a three-year term.

DeLeon & Stang, CPAs and Advisors, Gaithersburg, Md., announced that Jeanie N. Price has been promoted to partner of the firm. Price joined DeLeon & Stang in 1991 as secretary and progressed to director of administration. As a partner, she oversees the firm's technology, administrative and marketing initiatives. Price is involved in several professional organizations, serving as co-president of the D.C. Chapter of the Association for Accounting Administration and associate member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
