Mid-Atlantic Corporate Federal Credit Union,Middletown, Pa., raised more than $10,500 for the Children'sMiracle Network at its annual charity golf tournament. TheChildren's Miracle Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated tosaving and improving the lives of children by raising funds forchildren's hospitals across North America.

Texans Credit Union, Dallas, helped raise morethan $135,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation throughthe Texans Credit Union “Swing for a Cure” golf tournament atGleneagles Country Club in Plano. Former Dallas Cowboy Cliff Harrisserved as host for the tournament. Texans Credit Union was thetitle sponsor, with additional support provided by Dr PepperSnapple Group, Texas Western Hospitality, Andrews Distributing,Brazos Gas Co. and Lockheed Martin.
Heritage Federal Credit Union, Newburgh, Ind., sponsored orpartnered with more than 110 local organizations during 2008. Thecredit union donated funding or in kind gifts of more than $75,900,and credit union employees volunteered a total of more than 1,380hours to 48 organizations.

TruMark Financial Credit Union, Trevose, Pa.,raised $1,380 to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation throughemployees wearing jeans on two Fridays. The foundation grants thewishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.Founded in 1980, the organization, working with a network of morethan 25,000 volunteers, has reached more than 167,000 childrenaround the world.
