NCUA Board Chairman Michael Fryzel has met with Debbie Matz, Chairwoman nominee of the agency board to discuss the agency's agenda and immediate future plans.
Fryzel told credit union executives who attended NAFCU's 42nd Annual Conference near Washington that he and Matz had met for lunch to bring Matz up to speed on changes at NCUA since she was on the board and to discuss the agency's immediate future agenda.
He said Matz had agreed to holding town hall meetings on the new corporate rules in the fall and that the meetings are tentatively scheduled for Washington, Chicago and California. He did not name a specific location in California.
