Coloramo Federal Credit Union, Grand Junction, Colo., has openedall three of its locations as shared branches. Coloramo FCU'sdecision to come onboard provides its members with the convenienceof more than 3,600 locations nationwide. Coloramo FCU's primaryselect employee group is federal government employees, and thecredit union also has a community charter for Mesa Countyresidents.
Florida State University Credit Union, Tallahassee, Fla., announcedthe grand opening of its Evening Rose branch. Attendees of theribbon-cutting ceremony were given reusable grocery bags andtreated to refreshments. FSU Credit Union's new branch, its sixthoverall, is the first financial institution in the region built tothe specifications of the national LEED-certification program. Thelobby and drive-thru will offer a range of financial servicesincluding savings, checking, money management, IRAs and sharecertificates, plus new and used automobile, mortgage, vacation,holiday and home equity line of credit loans.

SPIRE Federal Credit Union, Minneapolis, opened its Eden Prairiebranch with a celebration featuring former Minnesota Twin and Hallof Famer Harmon Killebrew. Approximately 300 people attended theevent, which included food, games, a magician and an autographsession with Killebrew. The new location at 8577 Columbine Road isnow open for business.

Black Hills Federal Credit Union, Rapid City, S.D., hostedgrand-opening festivities at its newest member service center inthe Custer Pamida. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, held in conjunctionwith Pamida's grand opening, was attended by local dignitaries andguests. BHFCU's new facility will provide Custer-area residents andbusinesses with a drive-up teller, 24-hour ATM and a full range offinancial products and services. Two offices will provide privacyfor members wishing to open accounts, secure financing, or learnmore about mortgage programs or business services.
US Airways Credit Union, Tempe, Ariz., held a ribbon-cuttingceremony and open house to celebrate the grand re-opening of itsnewly remodeled branch in the US Airways corporate headquartersbuilding. Attendees could sign up for drawings for cash and prizes,while the credit union promoted its new SkyHigh Rewards checkingaccount. In addition, new members who opened an account received agift of $50.
