President Obama said today that unemployment will keep rising for several months but that his administration will redouble efforts to help those looking for work.

Obama plans to unveil a $12 billion initiative to fund challenge grants and other programs designed to help community colleges expand their offerings and increase their capacity to train students for the new kinds of jobs that are more prevalent in a more technologically driven economy.
