Shell Federal Credit Union, Houston, Texas, named SoniaCastillo its new vice president of human resources. Castillo hasover 17 years of credit union experience.

San Antonio Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, announcedthat Wendi Lozada- Smith has joined the credit union's informationtechnology team as an information security officer. She brings morethan a decade of experience in financial institutions andinformation security to the credit union. The credit union alsoannounced the appointment of Blaise C. Bender, to serve as a memberof the supervisory committee. Paul R. Ellis joined the collectionsteam as vice president and collections manager. He brings 30 yearsof experience in the financial industry with him to theposition.

SAFE Federal Credit Union, Sumter, S.C.,announced that employee Joye Cox has been named to the NAFCUquarter-century honor roll. Cox has been with the credit unionsince 1984 when she was hired as marketing director. She is nowvice president of marketing, which entails oversight of theadvertising, public relations, business development, research andfinancial counseling areas.

Langley Federal Credit Union, Newport News, Va., honoredJack Frost, a board member from 1980 to 2008, by bestowing upon himthe title of director emeritus. Frost served on the board for 28years, and he held positions as wide ranging as chairman toassistant secretary.
