Credit union and community bank clients of Connecticut-based COCC will now be offered the anti-phishing services of MarkMonitor under the core processor's marketing umbrella.
MarkMonitor technology is designed to detect phishing attacks in the planning stage and quickly shut them down. Financial institutions monitor their sites and access industry-wide reports through a Web portal and members and customers can report suspicious e-mails directly through their credit union or bank Web site, the San Francisco-based company said.
COCC said it will market the MarkMonitor solution under COCC's Sentry Services Suite of risk-management solutions.
