Members 1st Federal Credit Union, Mechanicsburg, Pa., announced that Melody Schaefer has been named business deposit services sales officer. She was formally a manager of the credit union's Mt. Rose branch and has more than 10 years of sales and management experience. Schaefer will be in charge of establishing relationships with new and existing business members to develop the credit union's business deposit services program.
Harbor One Credit Union, Brockton, Mass., announced the appointment of Robert Marsh to assistant vice president/branch officer of the Canton office. He most recently served as the branch officer for the West office located in Brockton. Marsh has been with the credit union for more than 14 years. Linda Grande was appointed to the position of assistant vice president/branch officer for the West office. Grande has served the credit union in various roles for more than 23 years.
CPCU Credit Union, Somerville, Mass., announced the promotion of Suzy Narayanan to the newly created position of branch loan administrator. Narayanan will continue to work in conjunction with the member services representatvies' department to fulfill member needs within the deposit and loan area while expanding into the area of business lending.
Garden Savings Federal Credit Union, Parsippany, N.J., announced the addition of Michael Powers as the credit union's new assistant vice president of marketing and business development. Powers comes to Garden Savings from another New Jersey-based credit union, where he served as vice president of marketing for more than 10 years.
Credit Union Association of New York, Albany, N.Y., announced Philip Faller has joined the association as a management consultant. Faller will be responsible for strategy development/operations and acting as a liaison between various credit unions around the state and the association.
MIDWEST
Veridian Credit Union, Waterloo, Iowa, was pleased to announce the promotion of Amela Cejvanovic to the position of communications research specialist. She has been employed at the credit union for two years. Cejvanovic was previously a loan interviewer at the call center.

SOUTH
Security Service Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, recently announced that Cynthia Lasky has been hired by the credit union as service center manager for its Schertz location. She will be responsible for the operation of the service center. Lasky previously served as branch manager for First Financial Bank in Fairfield, Ohio.
NARFE Premier Federal Credit Union, Alexandria, Va., welcomed Pamela Sisk to its leadership team. She joins the group as the lending director. Sisk has worked in the lending business for more than 22 years.
Coastal Federal Credit Union, Charlotte, N.C., announced that Ken Mellette has been promoted to Charlotte market executive. Mellette will be responsible for the performance of Coastal's Charlotte area branches. His duties include directly supervising Charlotte area branch managers and business development officers.
Keesler Federal Credit Union, Biloxi, Miss., announced that Carol Robinson, assistant compliance officer, earned NCCO certification. The NCCO designation is earned by professionals who have successfully completed a series of certification examinations provided by the NAFCU. Robinson began with the credit union in 2001 and joined the compliance department in 2006.
WEST
Elevations Credit Union, Boulder Colo., recently announced the promotion of Craig Burkhard to the position of executive vice president/chief operating officer. Burkhard joined the credit union in 2004 as vice president of lending. He has been the chief lending officer at Elevations since the summer of 2007. The credit union added three new members to the supervisory committee. Brad Jones of Denver and Robert Jobin of Lafayette were named as voting members. Meow Tan of Niwot was named as an alternate member.
California and Nevada Credit Union Credit Leagues, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., announced the promotion of state and regulatory lobbyist Melissa Ameluxen to director of state government affairs. Ameluxen will oversee the state legislative and regulatory affairs for credit unions in California and Nevada.
Cabrillo Credit Union, San Diego, announced that Steve Nelson, the credit union's branch manager at Cabrillo, was the recipient of the 2008 president's award. The award is presented annually to an employee who has gone the extra mile throughout the year. Nelson was acknowledged for exceptional member service, implementing high standards in his work performance and overall positively contributing to the credit union.

CO-OP Financial Services, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., recently hired Jennifer Kerry as its new vice president of credit card services in preparation for the launch of credit card processing. Kerry will help develop credit processing sales by distinguish technology solutions that bring continuity from the sale to implementation.
