RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. — Credit unions which were dissuaded from attending CO-OP Financial Services' Think 2009 Conference might want to reconsider now that the organization has waved registration fees for the event.
CO-OP said that the complimentary attendance, which extends only to credit union staff, will bring a savings of over $450 to each credit union who attends. CU staff attendees who have already paid the fees will have them reimbursed, CO-OP said.
"Despite their freeze on conference costs this year , credit unions expressed an overwhelming interest in THINK's line-up of speakers, including Obama's campaign manager and the founder of Travelocity," said Stan Hollen, President/CEO of CO-OP Financial Services. "We want to make this industry-changing event financially accessible to everyone who wants to absorb insights and business-building tools from some of the world's best business minds."
