DALLAS — The $46 million Security One Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Arlington, Texas, has chosen TNB Card Services to process its credit card and debit card transactions.
"Growing our card programs has been a challenge for us," said Pamela Stephens, president/CEO of Security One Federal Credit Union. "Our program has been adrift, with no real guidance from our current processor. We wanted a partner that understands the payments market, as well as the credit union philosophy, and can direct our card programs. TNB clearly demonstrated that they have the knowledge and capability to support our efforts. More importantly, they are sincerely interested in helping us grow, not just adding to their bottom line."
The change over brings 1,500 credit accounts worth $2.1 million as of Sept. 30 2008 and 2,500 debit accounts to the card processor.

The new processing agreement will also enable Security One to issue new credit union designed plastics for its card-carrying members. Debit cardholders will receive a Texas-themed card and credit cardholders will receive a patriotic card with an image of an eagle and U.S. flag. "Our members are very patriotic," explained Stephens. "Our new plastics reflect the pride and patriotism of our members."
