U.S. New Mexico Federal Credit Union,Albuquerque, N.M., honored John R. Thompson, its former presidentand chief operating officer. The CU's Tennessee branch will now bethe John R. Thompson Branch. Thompson, who passed away in 2008,served the credit union from 1979 to 2000. Under his leadership,membership and assets increased substantially. U.S. New Mexico FCUsaid the dedication of the branch will help Thompson's legacy liveon.
