Chamber Taps Security Service FCU Business of the Year

INGLESIDE, Texas -- For its volunteerism and community support, the Ingleside Chamber of Commerce has named Security Service Federal Credit Union its 2008 large business of the year recipient.

INGLESIDE, Texas — For its volunteerism and community support, the Ingleside Chamber of Commerce has named Security Service Federal Credit Union its 2008 large business of the year recipient.

Several representatives from the $4.6 billion credit union attended the chamber's annual banquet earlier this month to receive the honor.

In June, Yvonne Fernandez, assistant vice president of commercial services, received the financial services champion of the year award from the South-West Texas Border Small Business Development Center Network.
