Xceed Financial Credit Union, Rochester, N.Y., announced the hiring of Harvey Reiner as a financial adviser. Reiner has been providing investment management and financial planning services since 1999. His expertise ranges from financial planning for retirement and higher education expenses to estate, long-term care planning and insurance assessment. He also holds the FINRA Series 7, the General Securities Registered Representative License and FINRA Series 66 and the Investment Adviser License. He also holds his New York State Life and Health Insurance Licenses.

Sebasticook Valley Federal Credit Union, Pittsfield, Maine, announced that Kelley Carter was named vice president of operations. Carter has over 15 years of experience in all aspects of financial management. Carter comes to Sebasticook from the Maine School Administrative District No. 48. During his time there, Carter served as the business manager.

MIDWEST

Summit Credit Union, Madison, Wis., announced that three executives are celebrating a combined service at the credit union of 100 years. Each executive joined Summit in the mid-1970s. Diane Halvorson started at Summit in 1974 as a teller at the Hill Farms branch. During her time at Summit, she has worked in and led every area of the credit union. Currently, Halvorson oversees Summit's lending, marketing, the call center and the branch network. Sharon Benzine started at Summit in 1975 as a typist. Since then, Benzine has held positions in IT and operations support. Currently, Benzine is an internal auditor. Andrew Faust started at Summit in 1976 and became president/CEO in 1982.

WEST

Columbia Credit Union, Vancouver, Wash., announced the hiring of Zia Bhatti as senior branch manager of the new Washougal branch. Bhatti has over 15 years of banking experience. Bhatti most recently held a vice president/branch manager position at an area bank. Bhatti serves on the board of directors for both YWCA and Affordable Community Environments.

Mountain America Credit Union, Salt Lake City, announced that Don Youngberg has been named manager of the South branch location. The new branch opened on Sept. 15. Prior to the opening of the South branch location, Youngberg managed the Rose Park branch. He has 19 years of financial industry experience.

Altura Credit Union, Riverside, Calif., announced that two executives are serving the local community by filling the role of president on local boards. Ron Woodbury, executive vice president and chief information and administrative officer, was elected board president of the Carolyn E. Wylie Center for Children, Youth and Families. Woodbury served on the board since 2001 and was a member of the executive board since 2003. Ricki McManuis, senior vice president of corporate communications, has been named president of the Riverside Community College Foundation Board.

Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Manhattan Beach, Calif., announced the hiring of Gretchen Newman as controller. Newman will supervise the accounting department and be responsible for all aspects of the credit union's financial reporting and general accounting. Previously, Newman was controller for Decurion Management Co. in Los Angeles, the parent company of Pacific Theatres. Sam Oriel joined Kinecta has director of Nix Check Cashing. Previously, Oriel worked as regional vice president and director of sales at Wells Fargo.

Redwood Credit Union, San Rafael, Calif., announced that Sal Medina has been named manager of the San Rafael branch. Medina has served in the financial services industry since 2004 and most recently served as banking center manager for Bank of America.
