FAIRBORN, Ohio — myCUmortgage, an Ohio-based credit union service organization, has added five more credit unions to its roster of mortgage partners.
Chivaho Federal Credit Union in Chillicothe; Kent Credit Union in Kent; MidFirst Credit Union in Middletown; Steel Valley Federal Credit Union in Cleveland; and Toledo Metro Federal Credit Union have signed up with the mortgage CUSO. The credit unions are based in Ohio.
The credit unions will provide their own loan products, originate applications, gather documents and maintain contact with members but the back-office tasks of ordering services, underwriting and access to secondary market will now be outsourced to myCUmortgage.

"These credit unions have made a decision to step up their mortgage lending efforts and become more meaningful to their members in regards to home ownership. We're thrilled that they've selected myCUmortgage to be a part of the process," said Tim Mislansky, president of myCUmortgage.
Forty-eight unions have already signed up with the service.
myCUmortgage, is a division of Fairborn, Ohio-based Wright-Patt Credit Union's wholly owned CUSO. myCUmortgage is the 2008 recipient of the Prime Alliance CUSO of the Year award.
