WASHINGTON — Credit union employees, volunteers and members who want to learn about the nuts and bolts of the NCUA's Share Insurance Program can sign up for the agency's Webinar scheduled for Oct. 7.
The 90-minute session, Share Insurance 101, will be hosted by NCUA Board Member Gigi Hyland. It is part of the agency's continued outreach on the subject, in light of the nation's economic difficulties and the highly publicized failures of some banks.
The Webinar, which is free, is scheduled to take place on that date from 1:00-2:30 p.m. (E.D.T.).
