Following recent credit union losses, Credit Union Times polled its readers to see if they are concerned that these losses might have an impact on the NCUSIF.

In a close poll, the results showed that the half of readers are not concerned about these losses affecting the deposit insurance fund.

Six percent responded that they didn't know if they were concerned.

What Are Members Doing About Investments and Retirement?

The economy has left some members struggling to make cut backs in spending and has forced some to live paycheck-to-paycheck.

Credit Union Times wants to know, with members focusing on the present, how are they handling investments and retirement plans?

Given the economic downturn, subprime crisis and tightening of credit, how are members reacting when it comes to their investments and retirement plans:

They're more conservative these days.

They're more aggressive.

We're seeing more requests for financial planning meetings.

We haven't noticed any significant changes.
