LAKE JACKSON, Texas — TDECU has launched a bold public education campaign to spread the word about the soundness and stability of the credit union industry.
The message revolves around the simple concept that their money and investments are safe–if trusted to credit unions.
Created to inform and educate the public, the “Safe And Sound” multi-media campaign is aimed at generating discussion and providing a voice to consumers who are concerned about their financial future. A new Web site is also being rolled out with the campaign, www.TDECUsafeandsound.org as a resource for consumers where they can gather information to help them to make smarter decisions about their money while understanding the differences between banks and credit unions.
Comprised of a paid advertising component featuring television commercials, newspaper ads, and radio spots and supported by a community outreach effort, the campaign will be seen in 10 Texas cities including Lake Jackson, Shiner, Brazoria, Hallettsville, Yoakum, Cuero, Victoria, Angleton, Freeport and Texas City.
