AUSTIN, Texas — The Credit Union Information Security Professionals Association is offering a free multifactor authentication solution to all its members and any credit union under $250 million in assets.

The BetterMFA solution was created in conjunction with Jwaala, an Austin-based CUSO of Amplify FCU that provides online banking, money management and other solutions.

CUISPA said the BetterMFA solution lets end users–credit union members–choose their authentication method and change it anytime. Options include challenge questions, password by e-mail, password by SMS, software tokens and hard-ware tokens.
