Westerra Credit Union, Denver, offered its members a free family field trip at Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum. The event was in celebration of the Lowry Federal Credit Union that originated at the Lowry Air Force Base in the 1950s and the fifth anniversary of Westerra's Lowry branch. Members had to opportunity to see the new Colorado astronauts exhibit, view a moon rock and tour the entire museum.

Langley Federal Credit Union, Newport News, Va., hosted its first car pool day to help employees save money and to benefit the environment. Staff that carpooled or walked to work was registered tow in a cash deposit and was able to dress down for the day. Car pool drivers also received $10 from Langley FCU. Staff that walked to work received $5.

Saugus Federal Credit Union, Saugus, Mass., sponsored and hosted a community blood drive for the American Red Cross at its main office. All who donated blood at the drive were eligible to enter a drawing to win Red Sox tickets as the Red Cross blood donor of the day.
