COLLINSVILLE, Ill. — Scott Credit Union has got area residents humming a new tune about what to expect from a financial institution.

The new series of television commercials features catchy music and a lovable loser character in several scenarios spending money. The problem is that his money has disappeared to his high-rate or high-fee bank accounts. The message is simple–ask viewers if their money is disappearing to their high-rate bank account, then it might be time to make the switch to Scott CU.

"We aimed at doing something different with this series of commercials than what banks and other financial institutions have done," said Scott Credit Union Vice President of Marketing Adam Koishor. "Our main character is featured in several situations where he is spending money. The humor of it is that he doesn't have any money. It has disappeared to a high-rate or fee bank account."
