AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- A pair of West Coast credit unionsreceived top honors from Digital Dialogue recently.

First Tech Credit Union and Pacific Marine Credit Union receivedthe leadership award and service innovator award, respectively, atthe Financial Service Centers Cooperative's annual meeting inChicago.

Michigan-based Digital Dialogue provides call center and otherservices and software to FSCC and more than 200 individual creditunions.

|

First Tech CU of Beaverton, Ore., was cited for helping tocreate a shared branch system that uses wireless banking as well asfor consistent monitoring and feedback on each member callinteraction, and for "daily scripting due diligence."

Pacific Marine CU of Camp Pendleton, Calif., was cited for callcenter scripting techniques, 24/7 delivery for Western Union andwire processing and for other "creative solutions in providing 24/7account access for their members nationwide."

Both $1.8 billion First Tech CU and $479 million Pacific MarineCU use Digital Dialogue call center services through FSCC, thecompany said.

WASHINGTON -- Attendees at NAFCU's Congressional Caucus inSeptember will get the latest political analysis from NBC's ChiefWhite House Correspondent David Gregory.

The meeting is scheduled for Sept. 14-17 in Washington, D.C.

|

Gregory, who also hosts the daily MSNBC program Race for theWhite House, is the keynote speaker at the conference, which isNAFCU's main lobbying event.

The early bird registration deadline for the event, which willtake place at the Grand Hyatt Washington, is Aug. 4. This will beNAFCU's 34th annual caucus.

Attendees will meet as a group and then spend time on CapitolHill meeting with members of their House and Senate delegations ortheir staffs to discuss pending legislation.
