Holy Rosary Credit Union, Rochester, N.H., announced that Carolyn Wood has been named assistant branch manager of the Rochester branch. Wood started at Holy Rosary in July or 2001 as a financial services associate. Wood will coordinate branch administration between the teller line and member service teams while also providing support to the vice president of branch administration.

St. Anne's Credit Union, Fall River, Mass., announced that Ross R. Upton is the new president/CEO. Upton succeeds John R. Ledwidge who announced his retirement at St. Anne's annual meeting on March 30 after serving as president/CEO for the past 11 years. Ledwidge will continue to serve on the board of directors. Upton started at St. Anne's in 1993 as chief financial officer after serving for more than two decades as senior vice president and treasurer of a state-chartered Massachusetts savings bank.

SOUTH

Credit Union Student Choice, Washington, announced the hiring of Melissa Hunt as vice president of business development. Hunt formerly served as the vice president of business development at Smart Financial Credit Union in Houston. Overall, Hunt has 19 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Langley Federal Credit Union, Newport News, Va., announced the hiring of Millie Wilkerson as vice president of business services. Wilkerson joins Langley FCU from RBC Centura Bank in Norfolk, Va., where she was a regional manager, personal and business banking. Wilkerson graduated from the United States Naval Academy and served in the Marine Corps for 10 years.

South Carolina Federal Credit Union, North Charleston, S.C., announced that late board Treasurer Joseph E. Cumbo has been inducted to the Credit Union House Hall of Leaders. Cumbo served 31 years as treasurer and manager of a credit union in New York and as chair of the New York State Credit Union League. He was elected in July 1994 to the supervisory committee of South Carolina Federal and was elected in June 1995 to its board of directors. Cumbo was the 15th member inducted to the Hall of Leaders, which provides perpetual recognition for credit union leaders whose commitment has made a significant impact on the credit union movement at the local, state or national level.

Enrichment Federal Credit Union, Oak Ridge, Tenn., announced the hiring of Mark Hembree as mortgage and business lending manager. Hembree joined Enrichment from BB&T and has 19 years of experience working both in consumer lending and real estate areas. Also, Jennifer Daugherty was hired as mortgage loan officer at the Clinton branch. Daugherty joined Enrichment from Peoples Bank of the South.

Member One Federal Credit Union, Roanoke, Va., announced the hiring of Jean K. Hopstetter as its executive vice president. Hopstetter joined Member One from Grow Financial Federal Credit Union in Tampa, Fla., where she was the senior vice president of consumer lending and retail operations.

Neighbors Federal Credit Union, Baton Rouge, La., announced the promotion of Yolanda Dotson to vice president-human resources. Dotson joined Neighbors in 2007 and most recently held the position of senior human resources generalist. Dotson started her career 15 years ago as a corporate office education student in a local credit union.

Security Service Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, announced the hiring of Claire Ireland to its risk management team as a compliance officer. Ireland will be responsible for evaluating regulatory changes and implementing proper compliance procedures within Security Services' business units. Prior to joining Security Service Ireland worked with Kercheville and Co. as an operations manager.

MIDWEST

Catholic Federal Credit Union, Saginaw, Mich., announced the retirement of Compliance/Training Officer Beth Taylor after 19 years at the credit union. During her tenure at Catholic, Taylor worked as a teller, in the accounting department as a member service representative and as vice president of the marketing department. Also, Tiffany Hoffman was promoted to supervisor of compliance and training.

WEST

Kitsap Credit Union, Bremerton, Wash., announced the hiring of Jeff Wells as e-business manager. In this position, Wells will ensure the operation of internal and external Web sites while improving and innovating new services for its members.
