In the June 11, 2008, Credit Union Times an article ("Meriwest CU CD Special Creates National Buzz") mentioned that a merger with Golden Bay CU earlier this year extended Meriwest's branch network to Tucson, Ariz. Meriwest has had branches in Tucson since 1981.
In the June 11 issue of Credit Union Times, Members United Federal Credit Unions' available liquidity was reported at $4 billion. That figure should be $240 million, in addition to $3 billion in an advised line with U.S. Central and $310 million in a committed line.
