MONETT, Mo. — The RemitPlus enterprise payment system from Jack Henry and Associates now offers enhanced data completion, helping to automate the input of such things as handwritten text.

The Key-Pay Convene data completion solution supports all free-form, semi-structured text and handwritten characters and automatically sends such data to offsite, certified personnel for keying. Only the unreadable text is sent, ensuring consumer privacy, according to Orbograph Ltd., the solution's manufacturer.

“This next-generation data completion solution eliminates nearly all of the exceptions generated by traditional character recognition solutions,” said David Foss, general manager of ProfitStars, the Jack Henry division that offers RemitPlus.

“Financial institutions, nonprofits, churches, city and county governments, utility companies and many other businesses can now fully automate payment processing without the inherent challenge of deciphering forms or check writers' penmanship,” Foss said.
