Delta Community Credit Union, Atlanta, celebrated the grand opening of its Johnson Ferry Road branch located in Marietta, Ga. Delta Community partnered with LEVEL5 for the design of the new branch. Delta Community earned a first place Diamond Award for its retail branch merchandising for credit unions with assets over $1 billion for its previous work with LEVEL5.

FAIRWINDS Credit Union, Orlando, Fla., opened a larger, full-service branch at Avalon Park a short distance from its previous location. The new branch is 5,056 square-feet and provides new services that include three drive-through lanes, a drive-up ATM, a drop box for after-hour commercial deposits and safe-deposit boxes. The branch will offer financial services from savings, checking and money-market accounts to auto and home loans, commercial mortgages and investment and business services.

DATCU Credit Union
, Denton, Texas, celebrated the opening of its Wise County branch in Decatur with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The grand opening celebration included a catered fajita dinner, a Mariachi Band and door prize drawings. The new 4,400 square-foot branch is a full service facility that includes drive through teller service, real estate loans and insurance. DATCU also opened a new branch location in Aubrey. This is DATCU's eighth location and is a full service facility that includes drive through teller service, real estate loans, insurance and an ATM.

Apple Federal Credit Union
, Fairfax, Va., broke ground on its Kingstowne location that will open later this year. The branch will feature cash services, 24-hour walk-up and drive-thru ATMs, a night depository, safe deposit boxes and three lanes of drive-thru banking.

Capital Communications Credit Union, Albany, N.Y., opened its newest branch located in Cohoes. The branch staff is lead by Branch Manager Nicollee Monast. The new branch comes at the end of a larger growth year for Capital Communications. The credit union merged with Excelsior Credit Union, opened a new branch in Glenmont and had asset growth of more than 26%.

Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Bethpage, N.Y., held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate its newest branch at 210 Merrick Rd. in Freeport. This is Bethpage's 16th full-service branch on Long Island. The Freeport branch is set up to handle all Bethpage products and services from checking and savings to investments and loans. President/CEO cut the ribbon at the ceremony and was joined by Freeport Mayor William F. Glacken and Trustees Jorge A. Martinez, William H. White, Jr. and Donald K. Miller. Santa Rosa, Calif., relocated its Santa Rosa headquarters and will be soon celebrating its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house. QuieTrack is a purveyor of insurance tracking services, CPI, mortgage hazard insurance, flood compliance, business equipment insurance, collateral risk management and tracking systems.

Georgia's Own Credit Union
, Atlanta, held a grand opening for its environmentally friendly location in Alpharetta, Ga. Design Build Concepts, an Atlanta-based design and build firm specializing exclusively in financial facilities, partnered with Georgia's Own to create an environmentally responsible design. The branch includes exterior sunscreens, passive solar techniques and high reflective roofs. It features three drive-thru lanes, both walk-up and drive-thru ATMs, a safe deposit vault, a coin-counting machine, an Internet caf?(C) and a center for shredding and recycling sensitive documents.

TruMark Financial Credit Union, Trevose, Pa., opened a new branch in Bond Shopping Center in Upper Darby, Delaware County. This is the second TruMark location in Delaware County. State Rep. Mario J. Civera Jr. (R-164 Upper Darby), Councilman John L. Shingle Sr. and Thomas J. Judge Jr., chief administrative officer of Upper Darby Township, participated in the branch opening. TruMark Financial officials and senior managers, along with Zach Stecher, account executive for the Pennsylvania Credit Union Foundation also attended.
