Security Service Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, awarded $16,000 in scholarships to high school students in the San Antonio area and Colorado. Scholarship winners were: Laura Hernandez, Noah Pierce, Bethany Fowler, Kate Wiemers, Anthony Fisher and Brandt Zook. Since the scholarship program started in 1990, Security Service has awarded more than $128,000 to 180 college-bound students. Recipients are chosen based on outstanding academic achievement, character and community involvement.
