TEMPE, Ariz. — The Altier Credit Union board, which consists of seven directors, each serving three-year terms, added one new member, Joe Nowaczyk, and re-appointed incumbent Patricia Morcom as chairman.
Nowaczyk, a manager of Electronic Systems, has been with both SRP and Altier CU for 23 years. He has held positions with the company in strategic planning, customer service, marketing, operations and construction and looks forward to using his experience to serve Altier CU's members in his new role. He replaces Sid Friar who retired after 43 years with the organization.
Morcom, who has served on the board for the past 14 years, most recently was a member of the credit committee. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Arizona State University and has served in a variety of roles in corporate accounting with SRP for 28 years.

Other board members include: John Blevins, Chuck Russell, Becky Harsh, Marcie Greenberg and Sara McCoy.
"We are pleased with the breadth of leadership and skill that is represented on our board," said Altier CU CEO Harry Mateer. "We look forward to working together with them as we strive to provide the highest level of service to our members."
Supervisory committee members include: newly-appointed Chairman Randy Dietrich, Brian Keel, Deborah Rever and Joni Hoffman.
GFA Federal CU Celebrates Service
GARDNER, Mass. — At GFA Federal Credit Union's 69th annual meeting and solutions expo Charles Bowles, Douglas Delay, and Roger Tousignant were re-elected to three year terms.
In addition, several volunteers were recognized for service milestones. They include Andy Boucher, five years serving on the supervisory committee; Charles Bowles, 20 years on the board; Douglas Delay, 20 years on the board and supervisory committee; Allen Goguen, 25 years on the board; Mike Horrigan, 25 years on the board; and Roger Tousignant, 50 years on the board.
In recognition of his 50 years of service, Tousignant received citations from the Massachusetts House of Representatives, presented by Alan Agnelli, aide to Rep. Robert Rice, and the City of Gardner, presented by Mayor Mark Hawke.
Latta Elected Chair at MSUFCU
EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State University Director of Facilities Planning and Space Management William J. Latta has been elected chair of the MSU Federal Credit Union Board.
Latta replaces Thomas Scarlett who has stepped down after serving as chair since 1984. John Brick, MSU professor emeritus of the college of finance and president/CEO of Brick and Associates, an asset-liability management company specializing in credit unions was elected vice chair, Nancy Craig was elected treasurer and Mary Zehner was elected secretary.
Officers Named to PSCU Board
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — PSCU Financial Services issued the results of its board of directors election.
Craig Esrael, president of First South Federal Credit Union, continues as chairman and Michael Valentine, president of Baxter Credit Union was elected as vice chairman. Jane Watkins, president of Virginia Credit Union will serve as treasurer and Susan Adams, president of Entrust Federal Credit Union continues as secretary.
The table officers will serve a one-year term, effective immediately.
In addition, Gene Foley, president of Harvard University Employees Credit Union, and Jeff March, president of Citadel Federal Credit Union were appointed as associate directors.
The following credit union executives also serve on the board: Kyle Markland, president of Affinity Federal Credit Union and Ariel Chun, president of University of Hawaii Federal Credit Union; Ed Gallagly, president of Florida Central Credit Union; Shannon Riley, president of U.S. First Federal Credit Union; John Walling, president of Christian Community Credit Union; Terry West, president of VyStar Credit Union; and Darren Williams, president of Wescom Credit Union.

United Teletech Financial Elects Directors
TINTON FALLS, N.J. — United Teletech Financial Federal Credit Union has re-elected three members to its volunteer board.
Michael Hou was re-elected to a three-year term and again named 2nd vice chairman. Frank Kudenchak was named 1st vice chairman after serving his prior term as treasurer. Derek Mahoney was re-elected as treasurer. Other officers that were named for the coming year are Secretary Randy Weihs, Chairman Ruth Ann Kluin and Directors Cesar Carrero and Ann Weingartner.

Harry Carter Named MnCUN Board Chair
MAPLE GROVE, Minn. — At the Minnesota Credit Union Network annual meeting and convention TopLine Federal Credit Union President/CEO Harry Carter was named board chair.
"We are pleased to have Harry as the new chair of the MnCUN Board of Directors," said Mark D. Cummins, MnCUN president/CEO. "Harry is a seasoned and knowledgeable professional who will challenge the board to consider issues from all points of view. His extensive experience in the financial services industry will enable him to effectively lead the board and the network."
Carter has been with TopLine since 1999. He also serves on the boards of directors for the North Hennepin Community College Foundation, Brooklyn Park Rotary Club and Rotary Foundation, as well as a member and past chair of the North Hennepin Area Chamber of Commerce.
