BURNSVILLE — US Federal Credit Union drew in over 300 of its shareholders to enjoy the 83rd annual meeting event.
The evening began with a formal business meeting and announcement of those elected to three-year terms on the USFCU board of directors. This year four members of USFCU's Board were re-elected: Linda Barry, Evelyn Jones, Carl Long and Jack Titus.
With the meeting theme of A Scorecard Unsurpassed, USFCU President/CEO Bill Raker highlighted the credit union's recent growth along with various community involvement programs. In 2007 US Federal was recognized with statewide and national awards for its accomplishments with Minnesota FoodShare and the Express Refund Loan, a 0%APR alternative to refund anticipation loans.

"Our annual meetings are special reflections of the recent and not-so-recent past," said Raker, "We had the great fortune to spend time with shareholders that have been doing business with US Federal for 40, 50, even 60 years. That kind of loyalty is inspiring, and it challenges us to create that same loyalty with our newest shareholders."
