Tuscaloosa Credit Union, Tuscaloosa, Ala., announced the hiring of Mike Ivey as senior mortgage lender. Ivey has been making traditional mortgage loans tohome owners for 11 years. Ivey most recently worked with Wachovia Bank as a senior decisioner.
Mobiloil Federal Credit Union, Beaumont, Texas, announced that President/CEO Chris McDonald has reigned. McDonald joined Mobiloil in 1999 as President/CEO and led initiatives that resulted in an increase of assets by more than 150%, numerous ATMs, a new headquarters building, and the opening of four additional branches. The board of directors has approved the promotion of Kim Heinze to the president/CEO position. Henize previously served as senior vice president and chief operating officer.
Firstmark Credit Union, San Antonio, announced the promotion of Dawn Sloans to vice president-chief human resources officer. Sloans joined Firstmark in 1998 as vice president of human resources.

USA One Credit Union, Matteson, Ill., announced that its President Jerry Haley was appointed as a member of the Matteson-area chamber's board of directors. Haley has been an active member of the chamber for the past three years

Idaho State University Federal Credit Union, Pocatello, announced the promotion of two executive staff members. James Burrup was promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer. Burrup has been with the credit union since 2002 serving as a vice president of accounting and information technology. John Hapke was promoted to senior vice president and chief operating officer. Hapke was been at Idaho State University FCU for twelve years in the lending department most recently as the vice president of lending.

Group Health Credit Union, Seattle, announced the hiring of Robert Schweigert as vice president and chief lending officer. Schweigert comes to Group Health from Wells Fargo. Prior to Wells Fargo, Schweigert served as the vice president of lending at Washington's Credit Union for ten years.

Credit Union Associations of Colorado and Wyoming, Arvada, Colo., welcomed Andrew Guthrie as the new association consultant and Debra Larrabee as the new Government Affairs Administrator. Guthrie has eight years of credit union experience in the areas of teller, lending, member services, teller supervisor and branch supervisor all from Elevations Credit Union. Larrabee has experience in office administration support with over 20 years of executive support at divisional and local levels. She has worked for CUNA Mutual Group as an administrator for over ten years.
Desert Schools Federal Credit Union, Phoenix, announced the promotion of Carlos Pacheco to senior vice president with responsibility for sales and branch operations. Pacheco started at Desert Schools in 2000 as senior director of date processing services. He later transitioned to vice president of branch operations which included additional oversight of product management and business deposit functions.
Patelco Credit Union, San Francisco, announced that CEO Andrew Hunter plans to retire mid-2009. Hunter has served as CEO of Patelco since 2003 following a long tenure during which he served as chief financial officer, executive vice president and president. Hunter joined Patelco in 1990. Hunter will remain CEO as a search has begun to select a president who will, in turn, take over as CEO upon Hunters retirement.
