Forest Kraft Federal Credit Union, Atlanta, partnered with LEVEL5 , a consulting and facilities development firm specializing in financial institutions, to remodel its main branch and to open a new facility for one of its four branches. Remodeling of the main branch began this spring and the office will remain completely operational throughout the entire process. Construction on the new branch facility will begin in August 2008.

MAX, Your Community Credit Union, Tallassee, Ala., celebrated the grand opening of its new financial center with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The ceremony included special appearances by the Blue Valley Boys bluegrass band and Miss Tallassee Alex Trotty. The celebration included refreshments and prize drawings. Visitors were able to register to win gift certificates from local Tallassee businesses and the grand prize drawing for a two-night stay and spa package at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel and Spa.

Apple Federal Credit Union, Fairfax, Va., opened its second Loudoun County branch in less than a year. The branch was opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony and branch dedication followed by a celebration. Apple President/CEO Larry Kelly, members of Apple's board of directors and executive management were present for the ribbon cutting and dedication. The celebration featured food, giveaways, prizes, a meet-and-greet with Mix 107.3′s Chilli Amar and face painting. The new branch offers cash services, a 24-hour walk-up ATM and extended Saturday hours.

American Heritage Federal Credit Union, Philadelphia, celebrated the grand opening of its 20th branch. Local dignitaries, sponsor company officials and credit union board members were on hand to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony. The new branch in Horsham features an Internet caf?(C) and a free coin counting machine. There is also a surcharge-free ATM.

America First Credit Union, Draper, Utah, announced the grand opening of its Draper Harmons branch. Nathan Bingham was named as the manager of the new branch. Bingham started at America in 1998 as a member service representative in the member service call center. He was most recently the assistant manager at the Sandy branch. To celebrate the opening America held a daily drawing for two $100 VISA gift cards per day and held a grand prize drawing for a $300 VISA gift card. A coloring contest was also held for children.

Electro Savings Credit Union, St. Louis, celebrated the grand opening of its new office in Manchester with the help of two local youth teams. Members of the St. Louis Fever Softball Club and Ballwin Gargoyles Select Baseball Team, both sponsored by Electro, helped credit union staff handout refreshments, balloons and prizes to credit union members.

Medianet Innovations, Charlotte, N.C., announced the relocation and expansion of its corporate headquarters to Charlotte. Medianet is a global provider of collaborative communications technology. The new location is more than 2,600 square feet and will house the corporate headquarters as well as the sales and technical staff.

Desert Schools Federal Credit Union, Phoenix, celebrated the grand opening of its new Southern & Greenfield branch in Mesa with a free spring fair open to the public. The new branch was relocated from its original location at Val Vista and Southern in Mesa. The fair included a chance to win a $500 gift card shopping spree, McDonald's gift certificates, a clown with face painting, a caricaturist, ice cream, KNIX live remote, cotton candy, a DJ, free credit reports, popcorn, carnival games and animal-shaped balloons.

Delaware Federal Credit Union, Dover, Del., hosted a grand re-opening celebration in honor of its downtown Dover branch. The celebration included a ribbon cutting ceremony, an exclusive one-day only loan and deposit specials and a chance t grab $1000 worth of cash in a money vault provided by PartyDelaware.com. The was also a live remote broadcast by Eagle 97.7, refreshments from Vitales Italian Ices, Philly Soft Pretzel Factory and beverages sold by Del-One Community Outreach team to benefit this year's March of Dimes campaign.
