VACAVILLE, Calif. — After 34 years of service, Travis Credit Union board member Billy M. Perkins has retired.

Perkins has served as a director as well as treasurer, secretary and chairman of the supervisory committee during his tenure. Perkins is a University of Puget Sound and Golden Gate University graduate who enjoyed a 28 year career with the United States Air Force. He retired from the Air Force serving as the superintendent of the department of pharmacy at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base.

"I've truly enjoyed my career and am honored to have worked side-by-side with talented professionals who cared about the future of Travis Credit Union," Perkins said. "The current success of the credit union speaks to the strong foundation earlier generations worked so hard to create."
