MADISON, Wis. — The Filene Research Institute has added Dorian Stone to its team of research fellows.

Filene's research fellows are researchers and professors drawn from top academic institutions including Harvard, Cornell, and Arizona State University. Research fellows provide specialized expertise on topics that range from financial management and marketing to behavioral science and quantitative analysis.

"Dorian is uniquely qualified to contribute to the research Filene undertakes in a way that leverages his wide variety of work with financial service entities," said George Hofheimer, chief research officer with Filene. "Dorian compliments Filene's research interest and will provide invaluable counsel on how to apply the research in today's complex financial services environment."

Stone is an associate principal in the San Francisco office of McKinsey & Co., a global management consulting firm advising leading companies on issues of strategy, organization, technology and operations. Focusing on the financial service industry across the U.S. and Latin America, Stone leads the firm's proprietary research and knowledge efforts on consumer buying behaviors and customer experience in the property and casualty and financial services industries.

Within retail financial services, Stone has led client efforts that include, process improvement of core customer-facing processes, new-product development and customer experience strategy. Stone will serve a two-year term as a research fellow.
