BURNABY, British Columbia — Five credit unions in British Columbia have recently selected the core processing system from Summit Financial Technologies Canada, according to Fiserv Inc.
They are $392 million Integris CU of Prince George, $215 million Bulkley Valley CU of Smithers, $196 million North Peace Savings & Credit Union of Fort St. John, $171 million Williams Lake & District CU of Williams Lake and $93 million Spruce CU of Prince George.
The five credit unions collaborated in their core processor search before deciding on the iSpectrum system from the Fiserv credit union core processing unit.
"As many credit unions across Canada are nearing the end of long-term technology contracts, they are questioning the restrictive systems presented by their current vendors and favoring the enabling features and technology of iSpectrum," said Kevin Sparks, president of the Fiserv Summit business line.
The iSpectrum platform was built for Canadian credit unions and is delivered from an operations office in Burnaby and data centers in Vancouver and Toronto as part of Fiserv Solutions of Canada.
