FAIRBORN, Ohio — Wright-Patt Credit Union Inc. recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Springfield member center.
"Springfield area residents asked for a member center. Now, because of Wright-Patt Credit Union's success in 2007, we are open to better serve our members in the Springfield area," said Wright-Patt CU Vice President of Membership and Development Jeff Carpenter.
The new Springfield location is a full-service member center offering extended lobby hours, 24-hour ATM access, a free coin counter exclusively for its members and dialog banking. Wright-Patt Credit Union's Springfield member center will also serve as a location for the shared branching network of credit unions.

"We are finding new ways to fulfill our mission of helping people through life. We pride ourselves in offering the Miami Valley uncommon service and surprising products. The Springfield member center's dialog banking philosophy is one way of doing this," said Carpenter. "Dialog banking is a new way for members to work with their financial institution. It features teller pods where members do their financial transactions side-by-side with a Wright-Patt Credit Union member service representative, allowing us to get to know the members and their unique financial needs better."
Grand opening festivities kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a live remote broadcast from popular local radio station Kiss Country 101.7 FM. Attendees enjoyed free pizza and refreshments while entering for the opportunity to unlock three treasure chests filled with 14 prizes, including a Dell laptop computer and an Apple iPod Touch 8GB. Wright-Patt CU also extended a $100 Visa gift card checking account special, as well as discount offers on home loans and auto loans processed at the Springfield member center through May 31.
