BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — This year's Minnesota Credit Union Network annual meeting and convention welcomed nearly 450 credit union professionals and volunteers representing 75 credit unions and 152 individuals from 63 service organizations.

During the MnCUN annual business meeting, four incumbent representatives were elected to three-year terms on the MnCUN board of directors. Those re-elected were: Kyle Markland of Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union, who will continue to represent credit unions with more than 10,000 members; Richard Nesvold of SouthPoint Federal Credit Union, who will continue to represent credit unions outside Minnesota's seven-county metro area; Bill Raker of US Federal Credit Union, who will continue to represent credit unions in Minnesota's seven-county metro area; and Randy Willert of Greater Minnesota Credit Union, who will continue to represent credit unions outside Minnesota's seven-county metro area.

The MnCUN board also elected its table officers for 2008. They are Chairman Harry Carter of TopLine Federal Credit Union; Vice Chairman Kyle Markland of Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union; and Secretary/Treasurer Patrick Pierce of City & County Credit Union.

In addition to the board elections and the MnCUN business meeting, attendees enjoyed twenty educational workshops held throughout the two days, a tradeshow, receptions and fundraisers. The Family Involvement Council silent auction and Credit Unions for Kids Tug-N-Dunk Basketball contest provided entertainment and raised money throughout the conference.
